Here at JNPcreative we love to listen to music to get our creative juices flowing, come up with new ideas and to help us relax while we work which is key. Music is a fantastic medium to help anyone focus, relax and bring out their creative flair. The key to good music is a great sound system or set of headphones and here are our favourites that are affordable, reliable and allow you to have a brilliant listening experience.
Marley Chant Mini Speaker
To kick things off the Marley Mini Chant Speaker is a fantastic piece of kit, it’s reasonably affordable, has fantastic sound quality, great bass and can fill a room with clear high quality sound. It is a bluetooth portable speaker meaning you can take it wherever you want, something that is great for us here at JNPcreative. It has very simple function buttons consisting of on/off, volume up, volume down and bluetooth connect. It also has a great battery life which is perfect when we are on the go, we have had at least 10 hours of play time on a full charge (this will differ on how high the volume is). It’s design is eco friendly too combining wood, metal and a canvas like fabric.
Marley Mini Chant Speaker
Overall this is a brilliant product however the only downside would be the fabric. Taking it out and about can make the material a little dirty however don’t let this put you off the awesome sound quality and visual appearance. This product is around £40.00 (House of Marley Website) but when on offer you can pick this speaker up for around £23.00.

Skull Candy Ink’d 2.0 Earphones
The Skull Candy Ink’d earphones are a cheap and great quality product that allow you to listen to your music with clarity. This is the most affordable product we use and you should too. The design is very comfortable with in ear buds that fit and hold comfortably when worn. It also comes with a microphone, volume and play/pause button so you don’t have to go to your phone to skip tunes or answer calls. The wire is a flat design so doesn’t tangle as easily however it can be more prone to bending and potentially breaking.
Skull Candy Ink’d 2.0 Earphones
The sound quality of these earphones packs a load of bass and offers a very natural and clear sound. Although these earphones are cheap they are worth every penny. Coming in at £14.99 (skull candy website) you can find this product on other sites such as amazon for around £9.00 so be sure to shop around.

Wonderboom Ultimate Ears Bluetooth, Waterproof speaker
A JNPcreative favourite, the Wonderboom Ultimate Ears portable speaker is our favourite piece of audio kit. With a 360 degree speaker system, bass that will blow you away and crystal clear quality this is a must buy! Despite the small size, we are always amazed at how good the audio quality is every time we play music through this speaker. It has a slick design consisting of woven fabric and a thick rubber housing to keep it waterproof as well as a bungee cord for transportation. With two large function buttons at the front of the speaker volume control is very easy, there is a bluetooth connect button as well as a main play/pause button (which is a little hard to see on the first few times of use) and an on off button. When on there is a small power light that illuminates and when running low on battery this light turns red which is a great feature as there are a lot of other speakers around that just turn off without any indication.
Wonderboom Ultimate Ears Bluetooth, Waterproof speaker
This speaker has an amazing battery life (depending on usage) we’ve managed to listen to music for at least 18 hours without having to re-charge. The product comes with a charging cable, no plug but this cable is compatible with most phone charging plugs such as iphone and Samsung. Price wise this is a little more than the other products in this article but it definitely outweighs all of them as overall performance, look and quality outshines the rest.
